Wyatt Alan Morrison
Wyatt Alan Morrison (4) was born June 18, 2010 in Jacksonville, FL and passed away May 18, 2015, just one month shy of his 5th birthday. Wyatt left behind his mother, Pamela Kayla Davis Morrison, his father, Robert Morrison, and his three brothers; Tyler, Austin, and Ryan. Wyatt was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) on December 5, 2014. After four rounds of chemotherapy, Wyatt received a bone marrow transplant on April 8, 2015.
Wyatt shined his light and spread his love with all those around him, but especially with his family. Wyatt and his mom had a special way of saying bye in the morning at school. Mom would say "I love you Peanut" and Wyatt would say "I love you". Mom would say "I love you more" and then Wyatt would say "more, more, more!" He loved to find ways to make his mom smile. Wyatt would get so excited when he saw his brothers after school. He knew he would be home soon wrestling and roughhousing with all three of them. It was evident they all loved each other very much.
Wyatt spent his Pre-K years at Oakleaf Village Elementary. He loved to see his teachers and friends while at school. He brought sunshine and joy to everyone. Our memories are happy ones, especially of his radiant smile. His spirit and smile will live forever in our hearts, classrooms, hallways, and throughout our school.
